Classic lenses on mirrorless
There’s no doubt that the future of photographic technology lies with mirrorless cameras. However, it’s not easy for photographers to simply ditch their SLRs and switch to a shiny new mirrorless system. Probably the biggest issue is cost: buying a camera and set of lenses together is prohibitively expensive. The lens ranges can be limited too, especially with Canon and Nikon’s new full-frame systems currently offering just a few native options. But this can be alleviated using old manual-focus lenses via mount adapters.
Indeed one of the great attractions of mirrorless can be shooting with these classic lenses. You can buy many lens types much more cheaply, and it’s also possible to impart a different character
