One shot

In Eminem’s hit song Lose Yourself he raps, “if you had one shot or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment, would you capture or just let it slip?”

This is the question roasters across Australia and Asia Pacific should be asking, just weeks before entries close for the 2018 Australian International Coffee Awards (AICA) on 21 February. Event organiser, the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), is hoping for record applications.

“This will be the fifth year we’ve run the competition and its following across the country and overseas gets bigger and bigger each year,” says Kate Heeps, RASV
