The taller barrel and a carburettor a tad too close to the frame tubes are the only outward differences between the New Bullet and the Crusader. The downdraught Monobloc suffers poor throttle cable action as a result. The restrictions of the Crusader’s crankcase meant the crank was a built up assembly, unlike the Crusader’s one-piece item. It also relies on an outrigger bush as well as the main bearings, requiring accuracy in any crank rebuild. The Bullet-length stroke is 90mm.
