TMC sets out its Plates

THE Model Centre (TMC) has now received its latest commissioned model from Bachmann, this covering both the Plate and double bolster wagons, which have long been an obvious and significant gap for a ready-to-run model.

Welcomely, the tooling allows for a number of detail variations, such as either riveted or welded sides and the same for the ends, open RCH or heavy-duty BR W-irons, and plate or split axleboxes. All of the models feature spindle buffers while the double bolsters have an amended floor to include the lashing rings and feature the type-specific solebar pockets.
