How’d I get here?

First, I should remind you that every winter, even those during which I can ride once or twice a week, I hunger for a new, or new-to-me, motorcycle. I should not have to remind you that I am happy with my ZRX1200 Kawasaki, just rolling over 65,000 miles. It’s a great bike.

For a couple of years I wanted a Moto Guzzi. Then in 2017 I began to yearn for a Royal Enfield single, despite their oh-so-many inherent limitations.
