Keep trucking
It was still dark as I left Bayonne. I had a lot of miles to do so the alarm was set early and breakfast was speedy. Bayonne sits on the Atlantic coast in the south of France. South from here you get to Biarritz and in quick order Spain.
We regularly run tours into the Pyrenees and I had thought about planning a route to take in some favourite roads or try some new ones, but on this trip it was just not going to be practical.
