SYMPATHY AND REGARDS TO MIKKO

I was very concerned to learn of Mikko’s injuries and send him my very best wishes for a speedy recovery from temporary injuries. It was his editorial and the column of Maynard Hershon that first drew me to . I find their views and their manner of expressing them far more relevant to me than the reports of motorcycle sport that the other motorcycle papers continually repeat. I don’t only write with good wishes, but with the sympathy of a fellow luckless crashee, having high-sided my brand new, pristine Z1000SX at a roundabout only two weeks ago. I now know that diesel on the road was the cause. The bike is being repaired at a shop I am unashamedly prepared to promote – Bacons Kawasaki. I was extremely depressed. I have had so many accidents in my motorcycling life (some with serious injuries) I struggled with the idea of having one on my new baby. I regarded myself as a lifelong motorcyclist.
