LOST IN TRANSLATION

We attended the initial launch of the Gas Gas EC300 about a year ago. Held by Urban Moto Imports (UMI), the guys that bring Gas Gas as well as MV Augusta and Royal Enfield into Australia, it was a good launch with plenty of info at hand and a top venue for riding. We came away impressed with the bike which, as a first offering, is in fact ridiculously good.

Recently, we were invited by Gas Gas to a world launch to be held in its home country of Spain. The invite didn’t specify that there would be new bikes, but a world launch is a big deal and an expensive proposition, so it was safe to assume that we would be travelling over 17,000 kilometres to see at least one new model. It could have even been the first four-stroke for the re-born Gasser, which would be fairly big news.
