Gas Gas has been through some troubled times. The Global Financial Crisis hit the Spanish manufacturer hard and its collapse was heartbreaking for fans all around the world. You may remember the passion on display when rumours circulated that KTM was going to buy the brand. The Spaniards were not pleased.

In 2015, a saviour stepped forward in the form of the Torrot Group, another Spanish company which bought Gas Gas and has set about restoring it to its rightful place on the world stage.
