This month’s column is returning to the 50th anniversary theme of certain models which thrived in the muscle car heyday of the Sixties and Seventies – in my opinion two such overlooked models are the ’68 Ford Fairlane and the Torino. The Fairlane moniker (which acquired its name from Henry Ford’s country estate, Fair Lane, located near Dearborn, Michigan) first saw light of day in 1955.
