Hunter-gathering in the suburbs

Sometimes, driving through the suburbs, you may spot the plants below. Many street trees are useful, as are a lot of common weeds and flowers. And, yes, it is easier to buy plant foods in a supermarket. But ours is a generous planet. A little “gathering” can remind us of how generous it can be.
Please note: avoid harvests near highways and busy streets, as they may be high in lead from the days of leaded petrol.
