Round About

The curvy lines of Drunkard’s Path are easy to master in this cheerful quilt. The repeated block resembles a Drunkard’s Path block, however Marilyn has used a needleturn appliqué method to sew the curved piece onto the background.

The background fabric is a collection of black and grey prints on white; by mixing up the patterns it adds more movement and interest to the overall quilt. Each four-patch block features a different-coloured mottled fabric. The addition of various-sized circles adds some fun, as does the quilting stitches in Perle thread echoing them.
