Vintage Vibes

This colourful quilt is a collaboration between Chris Jurd and an unknown quilter. The maker of the ‘arcs’ is a mystery that will never be solved, but thanks to Chris they have been sewn into a wonderful ‘marriage’ of colour and will live as the lively basis of this quilt.

The vintage Double Wedding Ring arcs were purchased at the Houston Quilt Show in 2008. They’ve been languishing in Chris’ cupboard ever since. Recently, Chris had the idea to combine them with lots of bright solids, allowing the wide range of prints to take centre stage.
