ASK OUR ARCHITECT

QMy name is Sam and I’m an 85-year-old widower. I’m in a 800-square-metre house my wife and I built 35 years ago located on a quarter-acre block. It’s getting run down and I can’t keep up with the maintenance. The house is valued at about $1.5 million, but to move into a half-decent apartment will cost about this much anyway. What can you recommend?

A Sam,
