Habit: Annual vegetable, 100cm high and wide

Propagation: Sow seed or plant seedlings in spring and summer

Difficulty: Easy

Zucchinis are one of the most bountiful of all the summer crops, so think carefully about how many plants you grow. Two will provide more than enough for most families. If you plant more, you’ll be looking for ways to use them in every meal.
