THE FAMILY PLOT

Meet James and Abi, two pintsized gardeners who love nothing more than hanging out in the patch, planting, weeding and harvesting, ably assisted by Mum and Dad, Carol and Shaun Fitton. Digging in the earth really is a family affair for these Queenslanders.

Their rambling two-acre plot features a couple of large (14m×4m) dug-in garden beds. One contains an asparagus patch transplanted from two previous properties, plus a diverse range of herbs.
