Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. Requirements listed are for both dolls and are based on fabrics 107cm (42in) wide. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton or linen, pre-washed and well ironed. The instructions for this project are provided in both metric and imperial measurements. Choose one measurement system and use it consistently throughout the project. Switching from one to the other in the middle of the project may result in inaccuracies. Seam allowances are 10mm if using metric measurements and 3/8in if using imperial and they have been included in the patterns. Set the machine to a shorter than usual stitch length for stronger smoother seams on the dolls. Instructions are given for using the printed Pattern Sheet in the magazine, but you can also download the digital patterns from www.homespun.net.au and print them out.
