• 36 pairs of 9in squares of bright print fabrics: one darker square and one lighter square from the same colour family in each pair – 72 squares in all (blocks)

• 25cm ( 3/8yd) each of nine white with black print fabrics (blocks)

• 60cm ( 3/4yd) bright print fabric (sashing)

• 70cm ( 3/4yd) black with white print fabric #1 (blocks)

• Fat sixteenth or 10cm ( 1/8yd) black with white print fabric #2 (sashing cornerstones)

• 1.3m (1 1/2yd) green print fabric (border)

• 70cm ( 3/4yd) multi-coloured stripe print fabric (binding)

• 4m (4 3/8yd) backing
