ICEBREAKER HELIX JACKET

The Icebreaker Helix long-sleeve jacket is a good alternative to a traditional mid-layer soft shell. Although not the cheapest option out there, it is incredibly versatile and most importantly warm. The perfect final layer needs to be:

• Light

• Breathable and regulate temperature

• Made of natural fibres where possible

• A bit slippery to move inside the jacket

• Very presentable for evening wear

• High warmth-for-weight ratio

• Windproof

• Easily washed and quick to dry

• Long lived

• Easy to get a jacket over and off

• Cosy, with hand-warmer pockets

• Long in the arms and body.

The Icebreaker Helix ticks all these boxes.
