ABLETON EXTENDS LIVE 10
Ableton only just released Live 10 earlier in the year, and it’s already adding value with eight new ‘Creative Extensions’ available gratis to all Live 10 Suite owners. Created in collaboration with Amazing Noises, the eight tools include new ways of pitch shifting and sequencing melodies and delays, creative processing, a device that creates reverb-like spaces, and two revamped Max for Live synths. Melodic Steps – a fast and intuitive MIDI sequencer for playfully evolving melodies. Bass – a monophonic virtual analogue synth with four individually tuneable oscillators. Poli – a virtual analogue synth designed for classic polyphonic chords and phrases with de-tuneable oscillators and a built-in chorus. Pitch Hack – a single delay line with transposition control, reverse, randomisation and delay folding. Gated Delay – a gate sequencer that sends the incoming signal to a delay line on activated steps. Color Limiter – inspired by
