LOS ANGELES - The deaths of two Central Valley farmworkers in a car accident near Delano, Calif., has become a major flash point in the immigration battle between California and federal officials cracking down on people in the country illegally.
The couple died in a crash that happened after they were followed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The couple, who had six children, were not the intended targets for arrest, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
