LOS ANGELES_If it's not too late to juggle his itinerary, I'd like to offer an invitation to President Donald Trump on his first visit to California since he took office.

Why not stop by my Monday night class at Cal State L.A?

The campus has several hundred undocumented students, by the best estimate. Many of them have temporary protection under the Deferred Action for Children of Adults program Trump has defended and vilified, depending on his mood, or whom he last spoke to.

It might help educate Trump if he were to actually meet a DACA student or two, rather than taking easy shots from a distance. Maybe I could arrange for him to meet
