Tiffany Walden was covering breaking news for the Orlando Sentinel.
"When you think of Orlando, you think of Disney and amusement parks," Walden, 29, told me. "I had no idea how much violence there would be."
Morgan Elise Johnson was making films at an indie production company in Milwaukee.
"It got to a point where we were complaining to each other a lot about our jobs," Johnson, 28, said. "We were struggling with our purpose."
