ONE of the great joys of making composite images is that your imagination is the only restriction. Provided you can visualise an idea, all you need are the building blocks and a copy of Photoshop to put it together.

This surreal image is a case in point. It stemmed from a phone conversation with a friend, who was telling me that a particular place was “just after the fork in the road”. An amusing picture sprang to mind, and the building blocks I required – a fork and a road – were easy to find for a highly literal interpretation of this saying.
