If you’re in the market for a premium notebook, you’re spoilt for choice these days. Long gone are the days when a MacBook Pro was your only option. Of course, we’d argue that’s still one of the best laptops out there, but there is also a plethora of stunning Windows ultraportables to pore over, with Microsoft having polished and refined its Surface line-up in 2017. And now, here we are at the cusp of a new year, and Google has pulled a rabbit out of the hat with the Pixelbook: a touchscreen, convertible Chromebook that’s significantly pricier and more luxurious than any other that’s come before it.
