About this series

The Oriwikk have been fighting an undeclared financial war against the Ailiss for at least eleven years. The Ailiss have no Allies. The six people in the unarmed ship are considering fighting through publicity and shaming, finance, cyber warfare or anything else they can think up. A military war is not possible. It's not very advisable either. The ship has been delayed for years due to Torroxell, their planet of origin, having been involved in it's own takeover bid by the Keulfyd, another super Race. The Keulfyd lost. But the people of Torroxell won by involving multiple Races and multiple methods of fighting back. The ship contains Friona, a banking expert, Max, a cyber security geek, Siki who is a medical doctor, Jesan who has multiple talents, Siwijal who is a fish and knows the Ailiss and Katy who is there because of who she is; the daughter of Sarah, the ex President, now Vice President of Torroxell. The Ailiss are deeply in debt and don't know how that happened. Their income came by leasing out the land of the planet and taxes from mining. The payment was in technology. But land is forever and technology breaks down. It wasn't a fair deal. That was before the financial corruption and takeover started. The Oriwikk undercut, bought out or bankrupted all the other Races until they were the major and almost only owners of everything. But multiple other skullduggery was going on hidden by the Oriwikk. The Ailiss are soon going to get a very nasty shock as are the occupants of the little ship. But they in turn have one very nasty surprise for the Oriwikk. The Priskya have planned their help.

An Alien spaceship lands on Earth. Its Commander says it has been asked to transport Terrans to the planet Torroxell to discuss trade, contact etc. A mixed group of 416, including children, of mixed races and agendas, arrive on Torroxell to find no one knows who invited them and they are soon accumulating debt which will lead to slavery. Their leader will not face reality. Their species classification is changed to Amphibian which has profound implications. Then, shockingly, a war breaks out. Small problem; they have no weapons except the forbidden; Biological. They meet the Niseyen, Humans, well not exactly., and the Niseyen are in big trouble. A complicated system of politics governs this Universe. There is Interplanetary law but the system favours the alliance, the strong, the unscrupulous and those with the smartest lawyers. And the strong have a terrible intent. Into this Universe of countless billions come the naïve Terrans, totally confusing the Niseyen, ignoring protocols and threatening the plans of immensely powerful aggressors. Oops This is a stand alone novel and the first in a series.

The survivors of the war on Torroxell face a multitude of problems including injuries, domestic animals urgently needing farmers, a yukky diet, being outnumbered by hostile Alien prisoners and a mix of six Races with six agendas. Add exhaustion, incoming Niseyen with a vastly different culture and a potential approaching hostile Battle Fleet from the Keulfyd with revenge in mind because the weaponized virus accidentally escaped Torroxell and was spread to other planets. The Terrans copped the blame for this but it wasn't all their fault. Somehow, Sarah has to prepare for another possible war and coordinate six Races; one that often won't talk to her, one that has never fought, one that is infiltrated and badly compromised, one that is hiding a lot from her and one that is medical not military and her own Race consists mostly of refugees from a disaster torn and over crowded Terra.

Alien Deception follows directly on from Alien Backlash, overlapping with Alien Checkmate. Sarah, Torroxell President, is seriously injured as is her daughter Katy and to add to post war problems, an organised crime wave appears to be occurring. Anne, one of the original SETI Team, who was kidnapped from Torroxell at the end of Alien Alliance, surfaces on Oberterk, the planet of the Zeobani that Az and Kaz were enslaved and transported from. She causes mayhem for the Keulfyd and then the Nashi. Anne then plots with Mathew, the military mastermind behind the original counter-attack on Torroxell in Alien Alliance. Anne does not know how many ships are with Mathew and he conceals this information from Anne and the Zeobani. Sarah had to divert him and other incoming ships away from Torroxell due to various tip offs that the Keulfyd are planning yet another attack and many decided to stick together for safety. Meanwhile Sarah, sick of war, decides to subtly counter- attack using the sneakiest Sun Tzu type methods she can adapt plus a little blackmail and coercion thrown in. Allentom, who arrives partway through, proves a valuable ally due to her exceptional geek abilities. But progress is slow due to difficulties with and time taken up by what looks like perhaps a Niseyen take-over bid using organised crime? Anne tells Mathew the Zeobani are planning a counter-attack to get their planet back. Maybe they'd like some help? Then Anne discovers the real threat and suddenly it's game on.

Gradually the Keulfyd notice the Okme seem to be up to something while the Torroxans continue to deal with the encompassing organised crime waves. Then the Okme implement their plan and the Keulfyd Supreme Commander finds himself out manoeuvred, beset from all sides, with a totally unpalatable ultimatum and not a shot was fired. He digs all twenty-four toes in and refuses to negotiate.

Diplomatic solutions are hampered due to there being no Niseyen embassies on Terra however two Air Traffic Controllers recruit some rather remote help after airport ground crew and two engineers get busy. They devise a strategy that stops the Jaynar ships in their tracks. This forces the inclusion of Terrans. Unfortunately, the Intergalactic media broadcast the dispute. The Keulfyd find out about it and are alarmed. They can count to five (planets) and dislike the impending change in status, politics, alliances and economics that will eventually result if this settlement attempt becomes permanent.
