However, just as Kwaku begins to rebuild his shattered life, fate deals him another cruel blow. The woman he loves, Akua, is torn from his grasp by the insidious machinations of a wealthy man named Gerard, leaving Kwaku adrift in a sea of anguish and despair in the throes of his which, Kwaku makes a fateful decision that will change the course of his destiny forever. With nothing left to lose, he ascends a high-tension electrical pole, seeking consolation in the embrace of death.
