Galactic Star Force - Battlefleet Series

About this series
SOL has been rescued from the KroMach. Pegasus is undergoing a rescue of those left behind. Two separate battles must be undertaken simultaneously to save people from Pegasus and defeating a new enemy in SOL.
Coming from the wormhole to Andromeda came a fleet of ShanTu, unfortunately, followed by Krang. Alpha Centauri had become a target of the Krang, leaving the refugees from Pegasus with few options. If the Krang established a foothold in the Milky Way, it would just be a matter of time before the Milky Way would become just another food source.

To The Stars is a fun and exciting read about humanity's near destruction at their own hands. Humanity left Earth behind after a nuclear and biological war. Colony ships leave Earth for Alpha Centauri and end up in another Galaxy. The survivors had witnessed what would be the destruction of life on Earth, leaving humanity's future in the hands of only 10,000 survivors. Several hundred years of peace until the BrakNar and the Krang discover humanity. New life and hope are found in the Pegasus star system. Unfortunately, for society, it is a short-lived peace. The very right to exist as a non-food source is on the line for humanity. The journey finds them encountering hostile aliens that force them to flee further from Earth and into salvation by friendly species. The ShanTu offers a world that could sustain humanity, a new home of hope for humankind. On the planet, technology is uncovered that allows humanity to jump nearly 150 years into the future. This enables them to secure the borders of Pegasus and build a new home for humankind. Two planets became populated over 300 years, and once again, humanity was alive and growing. Aliens attack and overwhelm the security arm of humanity - the Galactic Star Force. A courageous battle ensues, in fact, several. Humanity in Pegasus hangs on to threads of emotion, endurance, and suffering. Humanity fights on in a losing battle. Leaving Pegasus as refugees is the only salvation humanity can seek. Two Academy students rise to their honor and salvage a ray of hope in the dismal conflict that would all but consume humanity. Their love for each other is burdened by their passion for peace and saving humanity.
