About this series
Of Kin and Kismet takes place five years after Of Magic and Murder. The once teens are now in their twenties and for some of them questions still remain. Who was the beast from all those years ago? Can permanent allies be formed between the coven and clans? How deep does the connection between the coven and deities run? Are their others like Lai-lai, with one foot in the physical plane and one in a realm unseen to mortal eyes?
In Book 2: Of Kin and Kismet the story shifts perspectives as Crimson, a character briefly mentioned in book one, takes center stage on her journey to learning the truth. What has become of the characters from book one? What friendships and secrets have yet to be discovered?
