- From Time to Time
1
Framed for a smuggling operation across time that he discovered by chance, the young vampire William is exiled into Earth's distant history. When he finds that his adversary from the future has followed him to ancient Egypt, he realises that what he stumbled across goes much deeper than a simple matter of smuggling. With his close friends Luke and Larissa trying to clear his name in the twenty sixth century, he struggles to stay alive long enough to be exonerated, while at the same time trying to find answers about what's really going on, and why his adversary from the future still considers him a threat.
- Larissa
1
Two men have been sent into the ancient past by Temporal Security to covertly investigate the presence of the militant Tarein as they attempt to acquire alien scrolls that have been hidden within the vast collection in the Library of Alexandria in 48 BC, but the two men have failed to report in. In the twenty sixth century, Larissa, a young vampire whose past is shrouded in mystery, finds out about the mission during her own clandestine research. She takes it upon herself to go into ancient history to find out what happened to them, even at the risk of compromising her own covert mission, and against the advice of her older vampire friend, the one person who knows the full truth about her. But what the scrolls lead to is something that the Tarein should never get their hands on; the lost technology of the Vihl, an extinct race with highly developed mental abilities whose last starship crashed on Earth thousands of years ago.
- The Time of Humanity
2
When the timeline suddenly changes, with all life on Earth having been consumed by an alien entity in the twentieth century, the crew of the newly commissioned time ship Dynasty travel into the past to prevent that chain of events from occurring. During their investigation they discover that the unknown adversary who framed William for smuggling has also had a hand in these events, and that the entire human race is under threat in a way that even Temporal Security is powerless to prevent. Even time travel may not be enough to prevent the annihilation of humanity.
- Cerah
2
Shortly before the fall of their empire, the Thalshuk created a prototype of an intelligent weapon called Paragon, which they thought would bring them ultimate victory in an ongoing war. Disgruntled with her career and future prospects in Temporal Security, Cerah and her best friend Peter find themselves caught up in an unusual mystery when the time ship they're serving on is sent to investigate a change in human history that leads them to discover a member of the Thalshuk race millennia after their extinction. Following a murder on board their ship, coupled with unexplained appearances of more Thalshuk at different points in history, it soon becomes apparent that a powerful enemy is searching for the Paragon weapon, with the intention of using it against Earth.
- From the Depths of Time, Part One
6
Shortly after an exploration ship visits the planet Copernicus a xenoarchaeological expedition on Turilsus is attacked by an alien menace, starting a chain of events that threatens the human race in the past, present and future. When a visit to the distant future reveals that the Centaur race has returned from a millennia-long absence, and are hunting down the last remnants of humanity, the crew of the time ship Valentinian consider themselves obligated to apprise Temporal Security in the twenty sixth century of the impending threat before it arrives, but when Earth is attacked it seems it's already too late. With the means of invading time at different points simultaneously, the Centaurs are able to stage multiple invasions across human history, making themselves unstoppable.
- Mysteries of Time
5
The time travellers visit an ancient Roman compound in Hungary in the year 375 AD, where William prevents the death of Emperor Valentinian the First, setting history on an entirely different path. Captured by a Roman starship from the future, they are brought to the year 2148, where the Roman Empire spans an extensive sector of space encompassing hundreds of worlds. But even the empire of the future is unable to combat an approaching threat from outside the known universe, with whole star systems falling before it.
- The Time of Sacrifice
4
The planet Melhandur is populated with humans of different nationalities living in a medieval lifestyle. Every several years, on demand, they are obligated to sacrifice a selection of their people to an alien spacecraft that comes to collect them, or risk being wiped out completely, as has happened to other settlements in the past. William and the mortally wounded Larissa arrive on Melhandur, brought there while in search of help for Larissa. Years earlier their arrival had been foretold by an old acquaintance of William's, coupled with the warning that their arrival would herald the most dangerous of times for the people of Melhandur. Between the dangers posed by powerful warlocks and marauding Nordics, and the presence of a portal leading across space and time, lies the mystery of the origin of the Sapphirus Tempus.
- Time and Time Again
3
When ancient terraforming equipment is triggered by humanity's greatest adversary, whom they'd thought to have been destroyed, the survivors living in the colony on the planet Copernicus find themselves further threatened when that enemy delves into Earth's history. The survivors know that any changes that occur there could potentially erase their existence even on Copernicus. If their adversary succeeds in acquiring an ancient artefact, the Sapphirus Tempus, he would become unstoppable. The colony also faces an additional threat; the warlike Gultorians intend to invade Copernicus.
- In Times of War, Part One
9
When an agent goes missing during a covert investigation into a conspiracy between the Tarein and high-ranking members of Earth's government, a secret division of Temporal Security enlists Valentinian's crew to assist in the investigation. Their search begins with the disappearance of an exploration ship after its discovery of an ancient Thalshuk derelict in deep space, and soon involves a conspiracy within Temporal Security itself. Meanwhile, the Tarein are making preparations for a war against Earth. If the Tarein can locate the lost technology of the Vihl, they believe they'll be prepared to launch a successful campaign.
- From the Depths of Time, Part Two
7
The members of Valentinian's crew have been divided into groups at different points in history, from the French Revolution to the sinking of the Titanic, and in each time zone a Centaur invasion is imminent. But even with the help of unexpected allies, any attempt to defeat the Centaurs and their human-like androids is futile, and it seems there's nowhere in the whole galaxy to run where they won't be found, in any era.
- Time's Curse
8
Having fled to the Triangulum galaxy, the crew of Valentinian, in company with a Karathi and a Branhal ship, seek a place to settle while also searching for whatever remains of the long-lost Ahshari race in the hope of seeking their help. But the leaders of the Maht Imperium that rules the galaxy have a vested interest in eradicating the Ahshari, and it seems the three ships may have only left one hostile galaxy for another. While attempting to evade the Maht Imperium, members of Valentinian's crew are suddenly taken from their ship and find themselves in different places where they must survive long enough to seek answers about what's happening to them, and where the last of the Ahshari went.

Marius A Smith
Marius Augustus Smith was born in 1981 in Adelaide, Australia, and is a life-long fan of science fiction. He has travelled to many places around the world, with many more he has yet to visit, although some destinations can only be travelled to in the mind (at least until the invention of warp drive!). Also having an interest in history, especially ancient cultures, and Egypt in particular, Marius has incorporated these interests into his books. His favourite authors include Alexandre Dumas, Kevin J. Anderson, Drew Karpyshyn, Anne Rice and J. K. Rowling. Some of his not-so-common experiences include shovelling coal in a 1920s locomotive, and being an extra in a police line-up. Marius currently lives in Australia with his wife.
