Black Star, a freelance assassin and thief, is on the hunt for answers after his father, the famous scientist and war hero Alexander Stromberg was murdered by the Sicarii along with his mother Sylvia nine years prior. But for both killers, every answer leads to two more questions, and the endless cycle of death begins to eat at the very core of their being, leaving them to question even the simplest of truths.
