About this series
Imprisoned by walls of their own making, can Eliza and Wil ever truly be fulfilled?
Now separated from her former lover and colleague Wil Douglas, Eliza James is assigned a new task by the private secret intelligence company, LILPIG, with her former nemesis, Paul Ferguson. Their mission is to infiltrate a diverse group of individuals who are connected by a common thread which carries potentially serious ramifications for the UK's sovereignty over its agricultural landscape.
Meanwhile, Douglas has become entangled in his own predicament through his clandestine contact with Eliza's Australian twin sister, Rachael. Although still in the dark about Eliza's fate, Rachael is the bearer of news that could shatter all of their lives.
But there are other important things on the three operatives' minds: with the need to navigate complex relationships between each other and LILPIG, and with Eliza now almost fully recovered from her past traumas, the status quo must inevitably endure a shake-up.
No one, however, could anticipate what unfolds when events collide and matters come to a head, forcing Douglas, Eliza and Ferguson to reassess their priorities.

However, the time has come to repay Abbott for giving her the chance of a new life, and her current, relatively stable existence is about to be rocked to the core. Eliza excels in her new role, but her relationship with Douglas is put to the test when she discovers what she must do as Abbott's newest employee. Their mission takes them to Australia – from Sydney to Canberra to Melbourne and back again – and finally a resolution of sorts emerges. But the country that Eliza fled before she met Douglas offers up more of her past than he bargained for, and Eliza discovers the true price of her debt to Abbott… THE SECOND NOVEL FEATURING WIL DOUGLAS AND ELIZA JAMES, BY S.
