About this series
In my previous three books, “Six steps towards the Dancing Cloud”, “Laser steps to Dancing Cloud” and “Business steps to Dancing Cloud”, I described the steps of the ladder that led me to where my house is now. Walking in the mornings in the nearby Wetlands Park, I realized that not only the steps themselves are important, but also the reasons, why I chose them, and not some others. Facts and events, that, it seems to me, directly or indirectly motivated the direction of my life path, are described in this book. In particular, the reader will learn the reasons why I parted from my old, beloved home, in which I grew up and in which I dreamed of meeting my old age.

The book about the laser steps made by me to be in my house on Dancing Cloud Ave. The reader will learn how the geographical center of the USSR was opened, and how the son of the Minister of Defense, drunk from the sound of pouring vodka, supervised the construction of the first Russian laser locator. Together with the academicians, the reader will visit to the military laser training ground and see how the helicopter falls when the laser beam hits its air intake. The reader will be able to observe how the two Russian Nobel laureates, the inventors of the laser, hated each other and find out how both deputies of the General Designer, who worked on the creation of military laser systems, died. The reader will be introduced to the Confessions of a Colonel of the State Security Committee, Deputy General Designer for the regime of secrecy. Finally, the reader will learn how an unexpected event helped me move from creating laser weapons systems to working on new laser medical devices, such as laser punches, and fine arts, such as holograms and laser volumetric images in transparent materials.
- Business steps to Dancing Cloud

My steps up the stairs on Dancing Cloud Ave, where my home is located today, are related to the business of manufacturing and selling goods made using new technologies. The important business rule, I learned while climbing these steps, is a simple rule: it doesn't matter who the inventor is - it is important to make money on this invention as quickly and as much as possible. I talk about how this rule works on a real example of the emergence and development of a business based on the production and sale of laser images inside crystals. In particular, the book describes litigation between the owners of the company “Laser Images” (Las Vegas) and between the co-owners of the company Crystal Magic, which had studio stores in Epcot Center (Disneyland, Orlando). The history of the lawsuit of the company that bought the right to own the first patent for the creation of laser images against all other American companies that produce such images is very interesting. Finally, I describe my involvement in a lawsuit involving the theft of an idea and an attempt to patent it. Almost all of my business steps have been wrong, nonetheless, it was thanks to them that I reached my Dancing Cloud.
