Circus of the Dead Series

There are many ways to die at the Circus of the Dead. You're invited to witness them all. Mom sent me all the way across the country to the Louisiana bayou to join the circus and help my uncle for the summer.   Except there is something not quite right on this swampy cursed island, and after having my fortune told, I can't leave.   I try to escape, but Benny, an all too charming ghost gangster tries to kill me by feeding me to a tiger. Thankfully I'm rescued by Samuel, the incredibly hot ringmaster who can't be a day over twenty. Can he? In addition to avoiding the human scorpion, staying away from the big cats, and having trouble figuring out who's dead and who's alive, I have to find a way to escape this horror show. Will I get out of the circus alive or will I join their army of ghosts and become a murderer myself?  Welcome to the Circus of the Dead. 

  Being dead definitely has its disadvantages. Number one being that I have to wait until the full moon to kick Benny's ass. What right did he have to kill me? None. Not only that, I was his thirteenth kill, so he's alive instead. Not for long, if I have my way. With Lorena gone, the island has taken on a life of its own and it's up to me to destroy it. But doing so will require massive sacrifices. Sacrifices I'm not sure I'm willing to give. But the fate of everyone on the island rests in my hands. Who will live and who will be gone forever? The choice is mine.

Samuel deserves to die a thousand deaths. I was so close to going home and then he ruined it all. Now, I have to focus on how to survive because I don't think I can go home. And to be honest, after a few more nights with Benny, I'm not sure I even want to. Plus, the more I learn about the circus, the more intrigued I become. I discover that I have abilities I couldn't have even dreamed of if I'd stayed in California. But, if I'm to survive, I might have to embrace dark magic. Can I do that without losing myself? Or am I destined to become evil?

"Congratulations Callie, you're the puppet now." What the devil does that mean? I've finally succeeded in doing away with Samuel, but I'm not really in charge of the island at all. In fact the treachery runs deeper than I ever thought possible and if I'm not careful every soul on the island—both living and dead—will want to kill me for what I've done unless I discover who is really in charge. Juliette's ready to leave the supernatural behind her. After living in a creepy circus, being killed by a vampire, and living as a ghost for several months, she's had enough. She scores a scholarship at a small school on an island in Lake Superior. She's not sure about the whole island thing, but figures the world is only big enough for one ghost island. Boy was she wrong. She finds that the supernatural has followed her and Samuel—the old circus ringmaster, who she thought was dead—is right in the middle of it all.

I manage to snag a scholarship to an exclusive yoga instructor school on a tiny island on Lake Superior. You'd think that'd be far away enough from all things supernatural. But it's not. Juliette is still reeling from her encounters with a zombie. She tries to push the whole experience from her mind and focus wholly on her yoga, but even when she's in the zone, she can still smell the rot of the zombie or see Samuel's face. She should just go home and forget this island ever existed, but for some reason she can't. That means she has to find a job or she'll be starving soon. When her plans go awry, Samuel offers her a job helping in the hunt for monsters and she reluctantly agrees. But when the new monster turns out to be vampire, she realizes she's made the biggest mistake of her life…

After Samuel reveals a secret that is too much for Juliette, she attempts to extract herself from his job and go back to just enjoying her training to be a yoga instructor.   But knowing that she could help rid the island of monsters, keeps her returning to Samuel's house anyway.    When a body shows up with no signs of a supernatural end, Juliette and Samuel must dig deep to find the monster.   And when they do, it might just mean death for Juliette…

At first, it seems like no one died on the new moon, but when a mysterious letter shows up on Samuel's doorstep, Juliette has to race after him to find the body.   They tear through the woods and find a ship wreck where one of Juliette's students has died. Samuel shares the letters he's received over the last couple of years and Juliette thinks she might know just how to find the culprit.    But when her methods anger Samuel and he sets off on his own, it might be Juliette doing the rescuing this time…

After killing two monsters and befriending a third, Juliette is getting the hang of this business.    Between her job, school, and hot new boy toy, she's learning to love Madison Island.    But after another mysterious death and new arrivals in town, Juliette's got her hands full.   Not to mention that Mason goes missing and Samuel puts her on the task of finding him.    Will it all be too much, or will Juliette figure out how to save the day once again?

Luca forgives her and the case she and Samuel have for the month seems easy.    But when she and her friends find a dead body, everything changes and suddenly they're all in danger from a monster that Callie and Benny know all to well….

Juliette never wants to see Samuel again. In fact, she'd prefer it if he stayed on his side of the island and she on hers, but when a good friend becomes a monster's latest victim, she has to turn to him.    Things between them are icy and cold, but she manages to keep things civil.    However, as the clues in the case reveal the true monster, Juliette isn't sure she'll ever be able to trust anyone again.

Juliette is finally getting the hang of being a monster. But a new murder in town has left everyone scratching their heads. This murderer seems to want to be found, leaving clues all over the place. But when he's finally revealed, he drops a bomb that no one expected and now they are all fighting for their lives.

The exciting conclusion to Circus of the Dead Chronicles. Now that Juliette and Samuel know who's controlling the island all they have to do is stop her. But that proves harder than they planned and before it's over, they may lose people they love. One thing is for certain, after this, nothing will ever be the same….
