      Ceres is the Oracle of the Gods. Since she was born, voices in her head have warned her of the future. Hers, other people's, the world's, whatever.   So it doesn't come as a surprise when he finds her on her thirteenth birthday, steals her away, and locks her in a golden cage so she can sing the future for him. He demands to be called Master and expects her strict obedience, claiming her visions will rescue the dying world.    But fate has other plans when the apathetic God of Death discovers her. He claims everything she has been told is a lie, and ushers her away to a new form of captivity.
