                What You hold in hands is the second book in the series, a direct follow-up to ˝ Touch of the Blackthorn ˝ published in 2021. It is a fantasy story based on the dark side of moral values, the birth of a villain in a world determined to see her defeated.

                If You love old-school vampires with moral values deeply rooted in monster lore, horror, gore, dark and uneasy themes, tabletop games, ™Dungeons and Dragons,  ™Forgotten Realms, adventure, and seek a momentarily escape from reality - My friend, You've come across the right book. The Chronicles of Nemesis book series is my personal contribution to the fandom and my desire to give back to the genre many of us fell in love with in youth.

                Nemesis, our main protagonist, exiled from home by unknown ancient magic seeks a way to unlock the door shut behind her ass. Conditioned to survive and find answers to fill the armour fate forged, she grows stronger by the day. But, so makes the ever-growing list of enemies with more than enough cause to seek her death. Nemesis Blackslayer is no angel, seek no hero in pages of this book, she is a monster born and raised among the worst of them. Naturally such find her presence favourable, adding to the aura of evil this unlikely group of five spreads wherever it goes.

As someone who grew up reading such books and playing through a solid amount of sessions with this book, I want to bring back the old values in fantasy, for all of us DnD lovers to read through. Mixed in vampire lore of old; Vampires of this series are just that - MONSTERS who kill and have no shame about it; Humans are food, not romantic interests. An existing aspect of romance is set within the boundary of vampire society and kin. So If you like Dungeons and Dragons, all books related to it, played the game - This is for you. If by any chance Saga of Drizzt ( Written by R. A. Salvatore ) happens to be your cup of tea - This is for you. If you like horror and gore and wish to read about vampires  with all the aspects of the nature of the beast - This is for you. For all dark fantasy lovers out there, for all those seeking something different, old-fashioned, and brutally honest of things we so rearly dare to talk about - This is for you.
