About this series
Spain, 1147
Isabel Ruiz saw herself at a crossroads when her friend married and went to live in another castle with her new husband. Unwilling to impose on the generosity her hosts bestowed on her at Moncaster, she concludes it is time to return to her native Granada. Her motivation holds a more convoluted twist, however. She wants to put as much distance between her and the man who abandoned her after promising to take her with him: Khalid Aziz, the word breaker. Her heart never fails to lurch at the sight of the wretched man, so she needs out to keep her sanity in place.
Khalid Aziz, second in command to the great Governor of Moncaster, never forgot the girl who followed him everywhere, even though she belonged to a Spaniard family who despised Moors. He'd planned to take her with him once, but duty called, and he was forced to leave her behind. Now, powerful and rich, he intends to claim her, if she only gave him a half-chance. Sadly, she refuses him and leaves for their both hometown.
But destiny will step in and take them on a voyage across the Mediterranean in an adventure that could close the yawning gap between them. Or cause them to perish in the face of danger and strife.

- Married for the Warrior's Alliance
1
Spain, 1147 Jimena De la Torre, daughter of the Duke of Moncaster, watches in horror as the Moors reclaim her family's lands. Left to fend for herself when her father falls in battle and her brother strives to live to fight another day, she'll have to accept whatever fate dictates. And it dictates she marry to keep Moncaster and its people safe and in peace. When the leader sheds his helmet, she has a vision of the tautest, most devastatingly sinful warrior she'd ever seen as he shakes her certainties to the core. But as her loyalties start to become divided, she does not know if she wants to fight for her people against him. Or with him. Rashid Abd Al-Zahar, the general who clawed up the ranks and won the most precious prize of all, will not let everything slip from his fingers for a woman who comes from the enemy's side. He needs to marry her as an alliance to solidify his supremacy over these lands. At the stunning sight of her, however, he starts doubting this marriage is for anything less than enjoying her lures under the stars that command their destiny.
- Married for the Warrior's Revenge
2
Spain, 1147 Fatimah Al-Zahar is visiting the Alcaide, her brother, in his new lands, Moncaster. The same he conquered, defeating its duke, and for which he married the former duke’s sister for a smooth transfer of power. Only the former duke saw fit to abduct the Alcaide’s sister in a bid to snatch his lands back. Ensconced with the man in his cramped donjon is not helping Fatimah with the attraction she feels for him since the first time she set eyes on the unforgiving warrior. Despite floundered attempts to break free, she can’t decide if she wishes her brother to give back the lands and her freedom; or never to show up again so she can stay with the fallen duke in any capacity he finds for her. Rodrigo De la Torre, the former heir to the Duke of Moncaster, sees it as his duty to recover the lands he grew up to inherit. After having done everything to achieve it with no success, the only resource left to him is to take the Governor's sister and exchange her for his rightful inheritance. The problem is that he did not count on the feisty woman to get under his skin and other unmentionable parts as she takes more and more room in the donjon and in the hollow place where his heart should be.
