About this series
From the travel brochure: Coalition GOLD STAR Phasing Pass: For a year like no other! Go wherever you wish, as often as you wish, provided each trip leaves you further from Sol-3 Terminus. To start your return, reach the boundary beacon at 1460 light-years or make a trip that brings you closer to Earth. Alternatively, simply wait until the start of the eleventh month, and the direction will automatically reverse, giving you 30 solar days to make your way back. What will you do on your Grand Tour? Drift down a Martian canal at Colony 5? Shear spider-sheep on a working Teegarden ranch? Pause to reflect on the Big Bad empire and the AI wars at the Cetan Heritage Museum? Hike through jungle ruins on Kepler 186f? Go abseiling in the abandoned cave towns on Kepler 62e? A lifetime of memories await!* *Terms and conditions apply. Contact us for details. Prices and availability of phasing lines are subject to change without notice. All planetside activities must be arranged in advance and paid for separately. The traveler is responsible for ensuring the validity of all visitation papers and entry permits. AI travelers must show proof of full backup prior to departure. Wetware travelers must purchase comprehensive travel insurance from an approved vendor. Not responsible for lost or stolen luggage. Check with us for weight restrictions and a list of prohibited items. Force majeure limitations apply to all transactions. Thank you for your patronage!
Titles in the series (5)
- Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology: Exoplanetary Archaeology, #1
1
Heading for Mars this weekend? Stop by New Toronto, Colony 7 to enjoy the Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology. Because there's more to Bradbury Ward than Asimov Park! And consider purchasing this full-color guide, which highlights more than 30 exhibits representing civilizations hundreds of parsecs distant and thousands of local cycles old. If you're searching for intelligent life on Mars, look no further than this lavish introduction to the splendors of Coalition space!
- Jupiter Six Galleries: Exoplanetary Archaeology, #2
2
The mandate of the J6G has always been to enrich the cultural life of the outer system starting with the Jupiter Independent Territories. We have the utmost gratitude to the Coalition Science Council for donating the unused wings of their orbital headquarters as gallery space, and for the helpfulness of their Outreach Department in suggesting and editing materials for exhibition. At the same time, we preserve a healthy curatorial independence, and are not afraid of courting controversy by programming exhibits from the Terran Art Museum & Cultural Preservation Society, the Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology at New Toronto, Mars Colony 7, and other revered institutions with an "inner system" perspective not always aligned with that of the CSC. Given our position at the crossroads of local transport, and our physical and spiritual ties to archaeology and space exploration, our goal whatever the exhibition is always to highly the artistry latent in the topic at hand so as to engage the imagination of the broader public. The process is as rewarding as it is challenging.
- Terran Art Museum & Cultural Preservation Society: Exoplanetary Archaeology, #4
4
Welcome to the Terran Art Museum and Cultural Preservation Society. At the TAM-CPS we immerse ourselves in the very best of human culture, including the opportunities for growth afforded by extrasolar interaction. Our curators consistently aim to create a sense of through line by Janus-like reflection on past accomplishments and future possibilities. Our permanent collection is eclectic, but focuses on art from the decades just prior to the lesser EMP (between the American Presidents Nixon and Kardashian). We also make a point of showcasing the quintessence of the political region currently hosting our unique mobile building. In honor of Coalition Heritage Month, we have decided to clear the decks for an unprecedented showcase of exoplanetary wonders. Join us as we learn more about our place in the universe through 40 exhibits of otherworldly archaeology and exploration, including the infamous Armida Incident. Through humanity's ups and downs, the stars have always fired our imagination. How true this remains as we journey among them.
- Taurus-Littrow Lunar Repository: Exoplanetary Archaeology, #3
3
The Taurus-Littrow Lunar Repository is pleased to announce the grand opening of a long-anticipated addition to the Serenitatis Complex: the new Extrasolar Annex, which showcases the latest strides in exoplanetary archaeology and exploration. Since our inception at one of the earliest lunar exploration sites, the TLLR has demonstrated a similar pioneering spirit in its pursuit of the very best in the arts and sciences. That drive has consistently inspired our curators to eschew the pull of our local gravitational well and the analogous centrism of the inner system. Now with this step, we declare our ambition to take our place in the wider stellar community by serving as an institution dedicated to the highest ideals of the Coalition.
