Life in Hellhole City – acronym for airport, HHC − moves very fast: if you don't keep up, you're lost. Buildings are sustainable and corruption is widespread. Hellhole City is a deranged and dirty megacity, very dirty −with billions of noxious particles floating in suspension− where the motto is 'run or die' and where more Japanese terms are used than Anglicisms. The social gap is an abyss: the very rich live in housing developments with more restricted access than Area 51. In a world that is dying of thirst, they can afford to water gardens like soccer fields. Life in Hellhole City is certainly no Capra movie. In HHC nothing is what it seems: everything is simulation. That is why, in this first installment of the trilogy, vice, artificiality and deceit reign. It is a story of betrayal and lies, but also a dizzying adventure that will leave you breathless. Netflix, the protagonist, will be caught up in a plot against him, he will parkour on the rooftops, experience the heartbreak of disloyalty, meet the tough and enigmatic Toxina and, above all, get high like there's no tomorrow. Maybe, after all, there isn't.

La vida en Ciudad Axila -siglas de aeropuerto, CAX- se mueve muy rápido: si no sigues el ritmo, estás perdida. Los edificios son sostenibles y la corrupción, generalizada. Ciudad Axila es una megacity desquiciada y sucia, muy sucia -con billones de partículas nocivas flotando en suspensión- donde la consigna es 'corre o muere' y donde se usan más términos nipones que anglicismos. La brecha social es un abismo: los muy ricos viven en urbanizaciones de acceso más restringido que el Área 51. En un mundo que se muere de sed, ellos pueden permitirse regar jardines como canchas de fútbol. La vida en Ciudad Axila, desde luego, no es una película de Capra. En CAX nada es lo que parece: todo es simulacro. Por eso, en esta primera entrega de la trilogía, reinan el vicio, lo artificial y el engaño. Es una historia de traiciones y mentiras, pero también una aventura vertiginosa que te dejará sin aliento. Netflix, el protagonista, se verá atrapado en una trama contra él, hará parkour por los tejados, vivirá el desgarro de la deslealtad, conocerá a la dura y enigmática Toxina y, sobre todo, se drogará como si no hubiera un mañana. Quizá, después de todo, no lo haya.

En el tercero y último libro de la trilogía Ciudad Axila, "Resurrección", nuestros infatigables héroes Netflix y Toxina abandonan el santuario de los Ángeles del Fango y regresan a la megalópolis más contaminada y corrupta del continente para vengarse del malvado DJ Inferno y abortar sus planes de apoderarse de toda la ciudad. ¿Lo conseguirán? Algo de eso hay, pero desvelarlo sería un spoiler en toda regla y no queremos eso, ¿verdad? Por si acaso, no contengas mucho tiempo la respiración.

In the third and final book of the Hellhole City trilogy, "Resurrection", our relentless heroes Netflix and Toxina leave the sanctuary of the Mud Angels and return to the most polluted and corrupt megalopolis on the continent to take revenge on the evil DJ Inferno and abort his plans to take over the entire city.
