About this series

Little Lion is getting older now and running into some problems. They include falling out of his tree, getting enough good food, hearing his friends, and a younger chameleon wanting to wrestle.Each time he and his friends are challenged to use their heads and come up with a solution. Little Lion thinks he can get younger, and has willdness in him left that causes problems too. Last, Little Lion goes on a final adventure, in which he tries to find answer to a question he does not know. In this last set of stories, we see how loyal friends help to meet the needs of Little Lion.

Michael A. Susko

The author, an independent scholar, has degrees in Philosophy and Counseling Psychology. For many years, he taught a college course on Indigenous symbolism with an emphasis on imagery found on stone and in the landscape. Having experienced gifts from the Indigenous related to sites that Native Americans inhabited, and having studied their narratives, he offers this work.
