Roxanna is the new young Queen of Oreias, a kingdom being invaded by its much stronger neighbor, the Kalarian Empire. In a last-ditch effort to save her realm, she flees her castle to join her army. On the way, she is stopped by a mysterious outlaw. He is a good military leader, and can bring the downcast Achlysians, Oreias's old allies, into the war. But he is unwilling to fight. If only she could convince him to help her, so she could save her nation. Vasilis is the leader of the Lystra Gang, a group of Achlysians who make a point of stealing from the Kalarians, after Achlys fell years ago. Vasilis feels Oreias is a lost cause, and he is too careless to lead the forces that can liberate either his nation, or Roxanna's. But he soon develops feelings for her. If only he could learn to pay better attention. Roxanna likes to be in control, but she can't direct Oreias's fate. Vasilis wants to help, but he knows detail isn't his strong point. Will they learn to trust God to take care of them and compensate for their shortcomings? Find out in The Ruling Queen!

Estella resents that her sister Roxanna, takes her help for granted. Roxanna even takes credit for Estella's accomplishments, which hurts. Estella wants to prove that she is worthy of notice, but doesn't know how, without compromising Oreias's ability to fight the war against the Kalarian Empire. How can she get Roxanna and others to acknowledge her contributions? Theodoros faces the same problem with his brother Vasilis. Vasilis even sometimes make Theodoros more work than he already has to deal with. He resents that Vasilis assumes he will always be willing to help him. Theodoros wishes to show his brother just how much he needs him, but doesn't know how. What means can he use to prove to Vasilis, that the war would be for naught if it wasn't for him? Estella and Theodoros form a scheme, where they will run off to get married, so as to force their siblings to acknowledge how much they are needed. But treachery is afoot, and their plans are quickly derailed. Can they survive being pursued by the Kalarians, long enough to receive the acknowledgement they deserve, or will they learn that their contributions aren't as unnoticed as they think?

Lady Thespia is suspicious of Lord Damianos, the now captured spy of Emperor Nikolos. She thinks he is in contact with his emperor, though she can't prove it. But when Princess Celena decides to visit him, and the other Kalarian prisoners, in hopes of winning them over. Thespia feels she must join Celena to protect her from the influence of these crafty people. But Lord Damianos proves to a more enjoyable companion than Thespia expected. It can't be love, can it?   Lord Damianos is disappointed that he has been captured again, but he remains imprisoned in hopes of being useful to his emperor and friend, Nikolos. When he meets Lady Thespia, he thinks she is an overly proud Achlysian, who needs to be knocked down a few pegs. But as he gets to know her, he begins to see that they might have more in common than he wants to admit. Is he falling in love?   The two become more attracted to each other, despite the conflict between their nations. They resist, knowing a match between them will be next to impossible. But their hearts refuse to listen. Will they learn to set aside their animosity, so they can help their respective nations?

The Kalarian Empire has finally called for an end to hostilities between itself, and the Kingdoms of Oreias and Achlys. But there are suspicions that these overtures are not sincere. Princess Celena of Oreias hopes that peace will be achieved, but her family is more skeptical. At the peace talks, she once again comes face to face with Emperor Nikolos. She fears him, but she begins to think he may be more than just a ruthless tyrant. He actually intends to use the peace talks, as an excuse to get the Achlysian and Oreiasan royal families together in one place, so they are easier to capture. He wants to force an unconditional surrender, so the two kingdoms can be absorbed into his empire. But when he meets Celena again, suddenly, his path isn't so clearcut. He finds himself attracted to her like no one else. But he can't have her as a wife, and the two kingdoms, can he?   Celena and Nikolos slowly begin to develop feelings for each other, but neither is sure it is wise to act on them. Celena doesn't entirely trust Nikolos, and Nikolos feels he still needs to conquer Achlys and Oreias, to protect the planet from a mysterious foe. Will they be able to be together? Will God use their relationship to bring peace between the two sides?
