About this series
Living underground sucks. Living in a city that's falling apart sucks even more. Combine these and you've got the home town of Melissa OmNick, a hot tempered 22 year old FireCat. Melissa is a recent graduate of the Street Police Training Academy. Usually dressed in a high cut shirt, skirt, fishnet stockings and black boots, Melissa has to go through a transformation; both mentally, physically to be able to continue and partake in Police activities.
Why the Police Academy? It's the only sure-fire way that she knows of to get out of the dump of a city she calls home.
As she works her new job, she learns the tricks of the trade from the one officer she didn't want as her partner. She also displays unprecedented magical capabilities, far beyond that of her partner or any other police officer on the force. This display catches the attention of the upper ranks, forcing them to take action on Melissa's future.
During a test, it is shown that her power seems to know no bounds, as if growing, to show that she was meant for something greater.
How high will her power take her? Is there a limit to her power? While she discovers herself, she lives with Ryan, seemingly the only one who can tolerate her attitude. Who is he and where did he come from, as he never works. What are his intentions towards Melissa?

Keith is a computer prodigy. Some argue that he's better than the computer genius Damian Mackeths. To Keith, it doesn't matter as Damian has had control of Keith since he was a teenager, at 16, back in high school. Keith, at that time, had managed to hack into the best security system on the planet; Eleanor herself. When Damian caught Keith, Damian offered him a deal, one of which he couldn't refuse. Now, 15 years later, Keith is working for Future Tech Corp, and has been put on a new assignment; to design, develop and build a computer network of monstrous proportions. A new city is being designed that will allow the peaceful fusion of the Humans, FireCats and Elves, along with the Dragons found only 15 years ago. Trinity O'Connell, a world class academic, who is also a journalist, blogger, professor and photographer, has been hired to help promote a massive project. However, things don't go as planned and her pathway in life isn't as straight forward as she once thought it was, as she reminisces her high school years, when she trained and fought Kronck. ~ Adults only - 18+ ~
- Desmond's Portal: Magic On Earth - If Magic Did Exist, #5
5
Something has come to earth. Something powerful and unknown. The Black Squadron detected it and approached, cautious. Their instruments read that phenomenal amounts of energy are emanating from it. What they find is that it's a portal...as someone or something steps out from it. The downside, the creature that steps out, steals away Trinity’s memory of who she is and who her loved ones are. The creature pokes fun at the Black Squadron, them being 'all powerful' and 'all knowing', yet not knowing about the supernatural creatures that live among the humans. Vampires and Werewolves. Pressed for time and an urgency as the creature goes around taking people’s magic from them, growing more powerful by the second (as if he wasn't powerful enough), the Black Squadron makes a desperate attempt at a possible solution- turn Saphiera into a Vampire and have her battle the creature to the death and hoping in the process to restore Trinity's memory. Why Saphiera? Why not Alicia? Will Trinity get her memory back?
- The First Cyborg: Mindy: Magic On Earth - If Magic Did Exist, #6
6
It's been a year since Melissa passed away. It’s been 15 years since Mindy joined the Black Squadron. Her plans are coming to fruition- to take down the corruption and bias in the world on a Global scale. However, there is only one problem. There is a new, highly skilled computer hacker on the loose. Someone with elite computer skills that trump all others, even Keith and Trinity can't seem to slow them down. What's worse is that the hacker taunts them with videos and trial runs of viruses that do physical damage to computers. Keith, Trinity, Abigale (BlackDeath) and Sonya can't seem to slow this new hacker down or even trace them. How will the Black Squadron deal with this cyber threat? Does Mindy have to put her plans on hold to tackle this new hacker? And as the title implies, does she really become the first android to hunt this new hacker down?
- The Unnamed Agency: Magic On Earth - If Magic Did Exist, #7
7
Marcko and Trisha have been working at the agency their entire lives. Now it’s time for them to retire. They are only 25 years old and are let go. They were the best agents that their boss had, but they’re let go. Why? Amy is a Sergeant in the Black Squadron. Her name O'Connell implies that she has a connection to Ryan and Melissa O’Connell, and even Isabella O'Connell. But nobody seems to take her seriously. Being stuck in the same position for years does that. Even if she has the Old Breed inside her, her particle count is only 110 billion. She isn't able to fight well against others magically. So she utilizes what she can: her physical strength. Being 6’ also puts her just under Randolph Montgomery's height, the current leader at the Black Squadron. With a particle count of 175 billion, he is the strongest there is at the Squadron and refuses to let in anybody else. The policy has become: strength is stature. No strength, no stature. Things are seriously wrong now. The Black Squadron has drifted and Marcko and Trisha have set their sites on the Black Squadron. It doesn't look good.
