About this series

A Muslimah's Pen: Reflections in Poetry is a collection of Haikus and Free Verse poems, written in English and Spanish. The poems were written when I first noticed a mass on my left breast and began a journey that changed my life. The experience forced me to reflect on love, life and family. Life is short. I wasted so much time being proud and angry with people who truly loved me. We should hold on to love, make ourselves happy and stop trying to please people who have nothing to do with our every day lives. A portion of the proceeds from this book's sales will go towards breast cancer research. Alhamdulillah.

A Muslimah's Pen: Falsehearted is a compilation of women's shared experiences as they navigate online dating, matchmaking, blind dates, and/or the Muslim dating scene. Muslimah go into the forbidden world of "dating"; hoping to find a halal relationship that will lead to a husband. More often than not, all they find is deception and disappointment. A few Muslimah sisters have offered to share their personal stories as a tool to help other women not become victims of the same predatory ploys that are often used by unscrupulous men.
