About this series

I lost the one person who gave my life meaning and purpose. My love. My soul. My only reason for breathing. Unwilling to bury her memory, my heart turned reckless, and my soul darkened. Then she walked into my life.

It was only supposed to be a moment.

Just one.

A moment where I could get lost in someone else and forget my pain.

In that one moment, she saved me from the memories that found me in the dark.

She tore my world apart. Wrecked me.

And with one kiss, she changed everything. Her love became my dark paradise.

Dark Paradise is the story of the Revelation Series Gage Gallagher. It is meant to be read after the bestselling Revelation series and before the Royal Protector Academy novels.

Why is the Book of Revelation so Misunderstood?   Wasn't its whole point to give revelation? Well, in typically Jewish manner, yes and no. The Book of Revelation was written as an apocalypse, a Jewish literary genre which also includes the extraordinary Books of Daniel and Zechariah. Profound truths were concealed from outsiders and opponents using elaborate symbolism, to be understood only by those properly taught, as Jesus explains in Matt 13:10-13.   The apostle John's original first century audience, having been led by Jewish Christians, would have readily understood his imagery from Jewish history. His plagues echo the ten plagues of Israel's exodus; his seven trumpets resonate of the Old Testament battle for Jericho. Many think the keys to unlocking the Book of Revelation are lost. Not so. We still have Old Testament history and, for those who know where to look, full explanations of its symbols in the New Testament. What we need is the humility to learn from the first century Jewish believers the mysteries of the woman, the Messiah, the dragon, the comings of Elijah, and 'the times of the 'Gentiles'. From these we can understand God's continuing purpose for Israel.

The Lost Keys of Revelation? It is often thought today that the keys to understanding the Book of Revelation have been lost and are irretrievable but they're not. They were just buried under centuries of rubble created by the Gentile church's foolish attempts to distance itself from its Jewish foundations. If, like any archacologist, we dig carefully we can rediscover them. In Dancing in the Dragon's Jaws, we found one key to understanding Revelation chapter 12 is the metaphorical "time, times and half a time" and we unlocked the last 4,000 years of Jewish history. This book, Slouching Towards Bethlehem, unlocks Revelation chapter 13 and the last 2,000 years of the Christian era, with startling results. Not only can we now understand the forces shaping history and the deaths of some 270 million in 20th Century genocides but we can also project the future of Israel and the Middle East.

Are you confused about "The Mark of the Beast'? You're not alone. The Mark and the number 666 have been controversial for centuries. Scholars and laymen alike have offered numerous interpretations, calculations and wild guesses but most predictions have failed to materialize. Some say we just have to wait. In this book, Graeme Carlé uses the kevs recovered in the first two in his series (Dancing in the Dragon's Jaws and Slouching Towards Bethlehem) to unlock the symbols and times of the most infamous and misunderstood mark in human history. Instead of waiting for a world government or a global banking system that may never eventuate, Graeme believes and shows that The Mark is alreadv here - and has been for the last 2,000 years! We've just not recognised it. It is actually the beast's counterpart of marks that God Himself placed on the forehead and hand of His people at the Exodus and in the wilderness, with a numbering system of names as described in the Book of Numbers. We don't need a profound theological education or esoteric enlightenment but we do need a basic grasp of Jewish history and the Old Testament, as understood by 1st century Jewish believers in lesus of Nazareth.

Moses and Elijah back from the dead? The most popular interpretation of Revelation 11 today is literal - that Moses and Elijah are soon to reappear in the streets of Jerusalem as witnesses, to preach for three and a half vears, then be killed by a metaphorical beast (a man called the Antichrist) before being resurrected again after three and a half days. The most common academic view today, however, is that these are all metaphorical images, referring to the church being persecuted initially by the Romans, today by the whole world, but ultimately vindicated. In this book, Graeme Carlé takes the metaphorical approach but from a Jewish perspective. The Early Church was, after all, led by Jewish disciples and/or Gentiles taught by Jewish disciples. He shows how the two witnesses would have been understood by John's Ist century audience to be the Law and the Prophets, making essential connections with Jesus' parable of the rich man and Lazarus, and with Paul's two Jerusalems in Galatians 4. In doing so, Graeme surveys the effects of the Law over 4,000 years of Jewish history, how it still applies to every Jew not under the New Covenant, and how it is relevant for all of us today.
