Neil Austin
Neil Austin left school early to paint houses. What he missed in formal education he gained from life and reading great writers. Neil's first book - 'KALA BEAR WARS : A New Mythology' - began as a serial tale on Facebook, posting episodes as he went. That story found some dedicated fans and with their encouragement, he edited and re-structured the material into the first book of a Kala Bear Wars series. Neil is currently working on a new novel, along with Book 2 of the Kala Bear Wars series. He also writes short stories and essays inspired by his multifaceted roaming life. Meditation, martial arts, addiction, recovery, Buddhism, Feminism, Humanism ... it's all grist for the mill.
