The following book discusses the characteristics of the True Servants of the Most Merciful, Allah, the Exalted, which have been mentioned in chapter 25 Al Furqan, verses 63-77 of the Holy Quran. In order for one to adopt noble character they must learn the blessed divine attributes and names of Allah, the Exalted, so that they can adopt each attribute into their character according to their status. For example, Allah, the Exalted, is All Forgiving according to His infinite status and adopting this attribute by forgiving others is something which has been encouraged in Islam. Chapter 24 An Nur, verse 22:   "…and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."   Therefore, this book will discuss some of these divine attributes and names in order for a muslim to understand and adopt their meanings until they become firmly rooted into their spiritual heart so that they can ultimately Achieve Noble Character. In fact, this is the meaning of the Hadith found in Sahih Bukhari, number 2736, which advises that Allah, the Exalted, has ninety-nine names and whoever memorises them will enter Paradise.

In this day and age many muslims struggle to find emotional support in their daily lives. Islam teaches muslims to seek aid and support from Allah, the Exalted, through His sincere obedience. This is the only way to Achieve Noble Character and obtain true and lasting support in both this world and the next. Marriage is an important aspect of Islam. In fact, it is an important aspect in most religions. Marriage has been advised in Islam as it safeguards and protects muslims from many sins, such as illegal relationships. An important aspect of marriage which many married couples seem to find difficult is maintaining a good relationship with one's spouse. Failing to learn and act on this aspect of marriage is one of the main reasons why the divorce rate within the muslim population has skyrocketed.   Married couples will never find true happiness or peace in their homes unless they live together in a kind manner. Allah, the Exalted, commanded good companionship between a married couple as it helps to maintain the different aspects of life they will encounter such as raising children and it will bring them happiness. Chapter 4 An Nisa, verse 19:   "…And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness.…"   This is a command from Allah, the Exalted. Therefore, whoever violates this command has committed a sin. And whoever strives to fulfil it for the sake of Allah, the Exalted, will be greatly rewarded for their efforts. In fact, Allah, the Exalted, has commanded muslims who divorce to treat each other kindly. Therefore, a married couple must strive even harder to treat each other kindly. Chapter 65 At Talaq, verse 2:   "…either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms…"   Therefore, this short book will discuss some of the aspects of maintaining a good relationship with one's spouse.

The following is a short book that discusses the hardness and corruption of the spiritual heart and its cures. It is vital for muslims to adopt a sound and pure spiritual heart so that they can Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

There is no doubt children can be the comfort of one's eyes and a source of happiness. But this only occurs when children are raised correctly by their parents.   When the parents raise their children in the correct way their goodness will extend to their parents, society and all of humanity. However, if this important duty is not fulfilled correctly then a person's children will adopt bad character and therefore become a curse for their parents and the rest of society. This important duty has been addressed throughout the Holy Quran and the Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. For example, chapter 66 At Tahrim, verse 6:   "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire…"   In addition, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, once advised in a Hadith found in Sunan Abu Dawud, number 2928, that each person is like a shepherd who will be held responsible for their flock. Parents are shepherds of their children and they will be questioned on the Day of Judgment about this important duty. Therefore, this short book will discuss some aspects of raising a pious child so that they succeed in this world and the next.

In this book the different groups of people mentioned in a single verse of the Holy Quran who will be blessed with a great reward and the forgiveness of Allah, the Exalted, in both worlds will be discussed. Chapter 33 Al Ahzab, verse 35:   "Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward."   Muslims must strive to at least adopt the characteristics of one of these groups so that they can Achieve Noble Character.

In order to Achieve Noble Character it is important for muslims to remove any negative traits they possess from their character. Life in the material world was created in order to test mankind. Chapter 67 Al Mulk, verse 2:           "[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed…"   Because of this purpose the material world has been created with many preoccupations and distractions which prevent one from submitting obediently to Allah, the Exalted, by fulfilling His commands, refraining from His prohibitions and by facing destiny with patience. These distractions can be reduced to four main obstacles which will be briefly discussed in this short book. By avoiding and overcoming these great obstacles a muslim will Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. The following is a short book that discusses the true meaning of the testimony of faith namely, that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the Exalted, and that the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is the servant and final messenger of Allah, the Exalted. Actualising this testimony is the only way for a muslim to Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

As good character will be the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgement Day it is vital for all muslims to adopt it. This has been confirmed in a Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003. In fact, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, once confirmed that he was sent by Allah, the Exalted, to perfect good character. This is confirmed in a Hadith found in Imam Bukhari's, Adab Al Mufrad, number 273. Even though, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was blessed with countless virtues and favours the one which Allah, the Exalted, directly complemented was His noble character. Chapter 68 Al Qalam, verse 4:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   A Hadith which summarises the blessed character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is found in Sunan Abu Dawud, number 1342. It advises that his character was the Holy Quran. This means the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, adopted all the good characteristics mentioned in the Holy Quran and avoided all the evil characteristics mentioned in it. There was no good quality but he acted on it in the highest possible way and there is no evil characteristic which he did not avoid to the utmost. The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, fulfilled all the commands of the Holy Quran and avoided all its prohibitions.   Therefore, this book will directly mention the noble characteristics of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, so that muslims can strive to adopt them as adopting his noble character is not possible without knowing them.

People are prone to committing sins but Allah, the Exalted, has given people many ways to erase these sins and even raise their ranks. This short book will discuss a single Hadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 3235, which advises muslims how they can erase their sins and raise their ranks so that they can Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. In order for a muslim to Adopt Noble Character they must be aware and avoid bad character. One type of character which contains many evil traits and has been the subject of many verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is hypocrisy. It is a deep and disastrous spiritual disease which can affect a person in such a subtle way that they may live their entire life without being aware of how much it has taken over their spiritual heart. Therefore, this book will discuss the aspects of hypocrisy so that muslims can avoid them and instead Adopt Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. Death is an inevitable fact which the entire creation will experience. Chapter 3 Alee Imran, verse 185:   "Every soul will taste death…"   Allah, the Exalted, has placed many things in the world in order to remind mankind of this reality. One of these signs is when a loved one passes away. The loss of a loved one is undoubtedly an extremely sad situation and only the one who has experienced it can truly understand its effect on a person's life. Islam has prescribed a way to deal with every matter. Therefore, this book will discuss some of the ways which can help one deal with the loss of a loved one. Acting on these teachings will aid a muslim to Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. If acted upon it will aid a muslim to Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

Islam can be split into three aspects. The first is being patient with destiny and the choices of Allah, the Exalted. The second is fulfilling the commands of Allah, the Exalted, in the form of good deeds and the final aspect is refraining from the prohibitions of Allah, the Exalted, which are defined as sins.   In this respect refraining from sins is a third of Islam therefore, it is important that muslims understand the different types of major sins and their consequences as only then will they be able to refrain from committing them and instead Achieve Noble Character.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

This book will discuss an important aspect of Noble Character namely, choosing suitable Companions.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

This book will discuss an important aspect of Noble Character namely, genuine Concern for Others.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

In this day and age it has become a common and accepted practice to unleash one's tongue and use it in the incorrect way. The ultimate loser of this attitude is the speaker even if they obtain worldly things through this behaviour. A Hadith found in Sahih Muslim, number 7482, warns that a person may utter a word which they deem insignificant but it will cause them to sink into Hell further than the distance between the east and west of this world. It is confirmed in a Hadith found in Sunan Ibn Majah, number 3973, that words are the main cause of people entering Hell. It is clear from the Holy Quran that each word a person utters is recorded and they will be held accountable for it on the Day of Judgment. Chapter 50 Qaf, verse 18:   "He [i.e., man] utters no word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]."   This should make it clear to all the significance of the words they speak and the importance of constantly keeping their tongue in check. This is not possible to achieve without knowledge. Therefore, this book will discuss the different dangers of the tongue and how to avoid them.

This book will discuss an important aspect of Noble Character namely, Reflection.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.

Spreading the word of Islam is a duty on all according to their knowledge and social influence. Chapter 3 Alee Imran, verse 110:   "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong…"   Therefore, this book will discuss some of the noble characteristics required for a muslim to successfully spread the word of Islam correctly.   According to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 2003, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has advised that the heaviest thing in the Scales of Judgment Day will be Noble Character. It is one of qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah, the Exalted, complimented in Chapter 68 Al Qalam, Verse 4 of the Holy Quran:   "And indeed, you are of a great moral character."   Therefore, it is a duty on all Muslims to gain and act on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in order to Achieve Noble Character.
