Elle a travaillé aux services éducatifs des Musées Royaux de Belgique, et a créé Les Ateliers Pédagogiques de la Fondation pour l’Architecture à Bruxelles. En 2000, elle se lance dans la création d’une nouvelle maison d’édition au concept inédit. Sous les conseils du directeur du MAC (Grand Hornu), elle crée la collection internationale « Happy Museum ! » destinée au jeune public. Catherine de Duve est aussi publiée à la Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN), aux éditions Hatier, chez Alice éditions et collabore avec des dizaines de conservateurs de musées internationaux.
