Little Witches Series

School is starting... but so is a new adventure. It's the week before third grade and Lila Teafeather is excited, but not for school. She's ready to find her familiar! A witchy tradition that has happened for every witch and wizard starting third grade! She has a week to look, but will she find her familiar in time? 

Lila's got a plan... Lila Teafeather, age nine, is helping her Grandmum when she discovers a picture in the upstairs closet. Grandmum tells her about the tea parties she used to host with her friends. Struck by inspiration, Lila decides to throw a tea party like the ones her Grandmum used to, but she needs help. Baking catastrophes, new friends, and some tricky recipes leads Lila to wonder if she'll be able to restore the spark in her Grandmum's eye. Can she bring back the tea parties of old? Or will they stay a distant memory?

Lila and friends have baked up a dragon... Lila, Mason, and Dar have hit it big in Butterpond and they're selling cupcakes like their hotcakes, Dar's tenth birthday is coming up, and Ruby and Kirby are leaving for camp soon. Lila feels like she's being pulled in soooooo many directions! Throw in a couple of magical mishaps, food fights, and a surprise birthday party, and it's enough for anyone to throw in the towel. Will Lila and friends finish the cupcakes they owe to the Butterpond Town Council? Will the birthday party stay a surprise? What happens when you bake a dragon? This might be their toughest adventure yet.  

Lila Teafeather's peacock is in love ... With himself.   Lila's been keeping secrets. It's been four months since she became a full witch and she still hasn't told her friends that she's a Copper Moon Witch. She reads alone at recess, she walks home by herself, and she is spending a lot more time at Grandmum's house than she ever has. So when a magical mishap causes Oscar to fall in love with himself, Lila tries to handle it the same way she's been handling being a Copper Moon Witch. On her own. But what happens when it's too much for one witch to handle?  Will Lila tell her friends the truth? Will her friends help her restore Oscar to his normal annoying self? Will Lila ever be able to handle the magic flowing through her?  

Lila Teafeather is turning ten... Ten is a big birthday for the little witches and wizards of Butterpond, Connecticut, not that you have to tell Lila that. She's a nervous wreck. She's about to find out if she is a Natural Baking Witch, a hope she's carried with her since she was little. But when her friends start having random outbursts because of something they ate, Lila starts to think that maybe she isn't a baking witch after all. But if she isn't, what is she?  

The Fifth Grade Test has arrived...   Lila Teafeather, age 10, has been waiting to learn 'bigger magic' ever since her cousin Mira started middle school. Sixth grade starts that journey, assuming she can pass the Fifth Grade Test, that is. Lila and her friends intend to spend their week-long Spring Break practicing their magic skills, but when their familiars begin acting strangely, and their teacher sends riddles through their spellgendas, it's up to her and her friends to figure out what is going on. Will they be able to solve this puzzle before their big test? Will they be stuck in fifth grade for another year?  

The Baking Trio is back and this time they're competing...   It's time for the Butterpond Summer Lights Festival, a festival that visits Butterpond towards the end of the summer. The crew is old enough to enter the festival's competitions this year. Lila, Mason, and Dar are competing in the bake-off. Kirby, Ruby, and Ben are taking on the flower crown competition. Will Mason and Dar stay civil when nothing goes to plan? Will they be able to finish the competition when all hope seems lost?  Magical ingredients, a withered tree, unexpected allergies, and some fierce competition. This is a summer they won't forget.  

The broomstick ride on Halloween night is their last rite of passage...   Lila and the gang have one final landmark event before they're no longer considered 'little'. It's the broomstick ride and presentation during the Halloween Festival. There will spells, gymnastics, and fireworks. They're all excited, and nervous about the impending performance for their families. But when Kirby becomes distant, Lila tries to figure out what's wrong, and she's at a loss of what to do when she does find out. How is she going to convince Kirby to participate in the ride? Will this change their friendship forever? How does Lila make her friend feel better, when it's not something you can get better from?
