- Rain's Rebellion: The Motherhood, #1
1
Can one short conversation change Rain's world forever? After the Third World War, women seized the opportunity to overcome the surviving men, creating a new nation in part of what used to be the United States ruled by the Motherhood. From that day forward, all women are raised never to question the new order of things where women have all the power and men are used and discarded like animals. Rain knows in the back of her mind that this way is wrong, but she's been indoctrinated to believe questioning the Mothers is unheard of. All of that changes one afternoon when she's fulfilling her duties in the Insemination Ward and sees one of the men face-to-face for the first time. Their conversation is brief, but Rain's life will be changed forever. Now that Rain is aware that the Motherhood isn't all it appears to be, she's drawn into a circle of women who want change and are willing to sacrifice everything to overthrow the Motherhood, free the men, and create a world where everyone is appreciated and valued, regardless of gender. The road ahead is full of danger, and with every step, new questions and possibilities are presented to Rain. Will she join the rebellion and work to set men free—or will she continue to be a part of the all-powerful Motherhood? Rain's Rebellion is book one in a new thrilling dystopian romance series.
- Rain's Run: The Motherhood, #2
2
Rain is a wanted woman, and it's apparent the Mothers will stop at nothing to track her down. Escaping her home country wasn't easy. Even though Rain and her friends have reached temporary safety, they are a long way from the Nation of Quebec. Recovering from a gunshot wound and tired from days of running, Rain would like nothing more than to stay hidden in the mountains with the family that's taken them in. But that's not an option. Rain's presence has put these peaceful people's lives in jeopardy, and when a tracker is accidentally tripped, it's clear she has no choice but to start running all over again. This time, when she sets out, her party won't be the same. One of her companions will be replaced by a handsome stranger, a man who not only promises to keep Rain safe, he has her questioning her feelings for Adam. Does she really love Adam or is it all infatuation with the only man she's ever really known? Rain's still a long way from safety, with Mother White and the others breathing down her neck. There's no guarantee the government she's so desperately trying to reach will even help, but she has to try. The men of her homeland's lives certainly depend upon it—and maybe the lives of her generation of women do, too, because rebellions are like a smoldering ember—they're catching. Continue Rain's journey in this thrilling dystopian romance!

ID Johnson
ID Johnson wears many hats: mother, wife, editor, tutu maker, and writer, to name a few. Some of her favorite people are the two little girls who often implore that she "watch me!" in the middle of forming finely crafted sentences, that guy who dozes off well before she closes her laptop, and those furry critters at the foot of the bed at night. If she could do anything in the world, she would live in Cinderella's castle and write love stories all day while sipping Dr. Pepper and eating calorie-less Hershey's kisses. For now, she'll stick to her Dallas-area home and spending her days with the characters she's grown to love. After 16 years in education, Johnson has embarked on a new career, one as a full-time writer. This will allow her to write at least one book per month, which means many of your favorite character will have new tales to tell in the upcoming months. Look for two spin-off series of The Clandestine Saga, one staring Cassidy Findley and another involving backstories for your favorite characters. Johnson will also produce several new historical romance novels and a new sweet contemporary Christian romance series as well.
