About this series
I am a storyteller, a loyal wife, and a vibrant, fun-loving friend. My credo is "everyone needs to know their life matters." Even me. I AM... a Character.
I am ardent, authentic, and undeniably out-going. My husband calls me a walking exclamation. point!
I've been repeatedly told that my smile and hugs are the Best. You'll likely find the tale of some exuberant adventure or a grief tale in these pages. There's wisdom, sarcasm and laughter, too. All to be enjoyed with exuberance.
I call my genre 'loos with the truth.' There might be facts embedded or overlaid in the fiction. The converse is true, too. As you read each story, be a detective - ask yourself which is which?

- I AM... a Quarantine Survivor: Anthology, #2
2
During crisis, all of find a way to survive. That what humans are programmed to do. Stories help us cope. Storytelling is a specific writer tool - I wrote as catharsis during the extended quarantine to suppress COVD-fear. The toughest part, we can all agree, was not knowing the end date of the pandemic. Humans were unwitting guinea pigs as governmental, medical, and scientific personnel grappled with the prospect of losing humankind. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a social butterfly. Prevented from being among people - especially unable to hug, a skill that's spontaneous within me - my spirit began to wither, rather than thrive. I felt as if I were back in my six months of active treatment for cancer, yet I was determined to be a survivor again. I blogged often - and compiled the blogs into this book. It's like that you, a pandemic survivor too, will relate to one or all of the tales. Note: All proceeds are being donated to a local food bank. Enjoy, emote - and pat yourself on the back. We survived!
